Wedding Minister and Officiant FAQ

1.   How long have you been in business and is this a full or part-time job?
       As a business I have been in operation for almost 5 years; as a part time consultant and coordinator – 18 years;  weddings, graduations, proms, and class reunions.  I have been in the Hospitality industry for 25 years.  I have provided personal and professional hands on experience with all types of folks.  I have also been involved in catering and presentation services.  I do not consider my officiating or coordination services as a job.  I love what I do and it is my priveledge to be part of your day.....        

2. How many full-service weddings do you coordinate each year? 

      My main focus is to provide to you all the time you need to make your day dreamy.  If that requires only your wedding in my wedding schedule then I am yours for the duration.  If you are eloping and we spend 30 minutes together then 30 minutes it shall be...It is all up to you!!!

3.  Are you a member of any bridal, trade, and/or wedding associations?

     I am not in affilitation with the national registry's to promote my business.  I like to remain local so that I can provide you with a more personal feel and help you to feel like family.  I love the things you see when you are looking at our venues, and so I stay small with a hometown feel.....


4.  If you charge for the initial meeting and I hire you, will this charge be applied to the cost of your services? (It should be applied.)

      ALL consultations are free....

5.  Do you accept commissions; kickbacks; and/or referral fees? 

      NO!  All Vendors and professional persons are well established in the communities I provide my services to;  It is my pleasure to promote them to ensure your day is done with professional and courteous service to make the most beautiful event for you.    

6. Do you sell wedding invitations? 

      I am no longer in the Invitations side of the wedding business...Katrina's Wedding Boutique is a fantastic place and Katrina and Brooke will take care of your every invitation whim!  


7.   What is your refund, cancellation, and postponement policy? 

  Cancellation and refund policies are listed per contract based on the event services to be provided and will be explained at the consultation for services meeting.

8. What if you become ill and cannot coordinate/Officiate the wedding?

I will provide a the bride and groom with resources to help them keep their vision in place.  Contract requirements will be covered at the consultation in detail.

     Stress relief – An event coordinator/consultant can put your dreams and plans into motion for you.  You can have your beautiful day without the stress of wondering if the plans are being followed, and as your "assistant" for the event, I can deal with any problems that can arise to give you optimal enjoyment during your special day.

     Mediator – As a consultant/Coordinator I can be the in between person for difficult matters, leaving you feeling fresh and unstressed.  Aside from Vendor liaison I can even help with family planning matters and decisions and directives that you may not want to handle.

     Budget Assistance – Wedding budgets can get out of control very quickly.  By having a consultant/coordinator by your side, you will be able to maximize the necessities for your event and still have money for the little things here and there.  Floral, catering, DJ and all the other things you have wanted for your special day can be achieved without going crazy.  If you have the ability to get crazy, then the world is your oyster….

     I am all yours! – I am available to you at all times.  Have a question, problem, or just need to vent?  I am here for you and only you. Feel at ease in knowing that your day will not be cluttered with other appointments, or obligations.  I will not leave you.  I will not put anyone but you and your fiancé in the limelight on your special day.  No secret reasons to leave for other bookings.  No complications or “oops, I forgot” here.  I will be there with you, for you, and about you.  What more could you ask for?
